Read this before you build anything.

Most people I talk to are doing stages 2, 3, and 4 simultaneously and wondering why nothing is converting. They're building a course, running content, setting up automations, and trying to grow on social — all at the same time, all without a foundation under any of it.

I did the same thing. For longer than I want to admit.

This guide exists because revenue has a sequence. Skipping stages doesn't speed things up — it just means you'll loop back and rebuild. Pick your stage. Follow the steps. Move forward when the stage is done, not when you're bored with it.

PART 1 — Where Are You Right Now?

Be honest. This determines where you start.

Your Situation Your Starting Point
No audience, no offer yet Stage 1 — build the foundation first
Have an audience, no offer Stage 2 — you're ready to monetize
Have an offer, no consistent audience Stage 1 — traffic feeds everything
Have both but income is inconsistent Stage 3 — you need a core system
Have all of the above Stage 4 — you're ready to scale

PART 2 — The Revenue Sequence

Stage 1 — Foundation

Get clear on who you are, who you're for, and what you stand for. Do this before you sell anything.

This isn't the exciting part. It's the part that makes everything else work.

What to do:

You're ready for Stage 2 when: You can say what you do and who it's for in two sentences. Without pausing. Without qualifying it.

Stage 3 — Core Offer

Build the thing that pays you consistently.

This is your signature program, course, membership, or service package. It lives at the center of everything. Content drives people here. Your entry offer leads people here. This is where income gets predictable.

Price range: $297–$997

What to do:

You're ready for Stage 4 when: Your core offer is selling without you pushing it manually every week. That's the signal.

Progress check:

Stage 2 — Entry Offer

Make your first dollar. Build trust fast. Prove to yourself this works.

The entry offer isn't your best work — it's your first proof. A template, a guide, a mini-course, a toolkit. Something someone can use the same day they buy it.

Price range: $17–$97

What to do:

You're ready for Stage 3 when: You've made at least 10 sales, and you know what your audience actually wants from you. Not what you think they want. What they've proven by paying for.

Progress check:

Stage 4 — Premium

Serve fewer people at a higher level. Protect your time.

Premium is not for everyone and it's not meant to be. This is consulting, done-with-you programs, retainers, masterminds. Invitation and application only. You attract premium clients — you don't chase them.

Price range: $1,500+

What to do:

You're ready when: You have real results from real clients, capacity to deliver consistently, and messaging that attracts without you having to explain your value every time.
